Skinvip.com is a network password site offering 13 sites for the price of one. The focus of the site and the theme of the two of the largest collections in the network is basically standard teen and amateur hardcore, represented mostly by angelsofporn.com and tonyscastingcouch.com, both of which I have reviewed and have sort of neutral feelings about. The other sites included are bjpov.com, nikkyblond.com, shemalepickup.com, strokejobs.com, banginblacks.com, redasses.com and buttbangin.com, skinreel.com, borderbombshells.com, feetstroke.com and titsblitz.com, so as you can probably tell from the names, there are a variety of different categories represented here. The biggest value in the bunch is Skin Reel which offers over 225 DVD titles for download at DVD quality.
Once you log in to skinvip.com, you'll see links to some of the included sites, but there's really no network hub to speak of since you actually have to enter each site separately. Links to the rest of the included sites are found in the members areas of each site on the network. The largest site on the network is Tony's Casting Couch which I gave an OK review, but the video quality leaves something to be desired. Most of the other sites have much higher videos, but also MUCH less content, with the exception of skinreel.com. Sites like Nikky Blond and Stroke Jobs however, do offer full screen capable videos as do many of the other sites.
Across the network as a whole, there are around 850 videos, a good chunk of which come from tonyscastingcouch.com. The more specific or "out there" a site is, the smaller the collection seems to be, and shemalepickup.com weighs in with just 10 movies. Download options vary, but the network seems to favor split and full length WMV and MPEG format files. There are fewer picture sets since many of the sites offer screen captures instead of photos. For the sites which offer photo content, ZIP files are not provided, and it can sometimes be difficult to find the scenes which include photos because of the way the navigation is set up. I estimate around 330 picture sets across the network.
Sometimes you can take a group small, but good, sites and put them together to make a really great network. And sometimes, as I feel is the case with skinvip.com, you take a group of mediocre and mostly small sites and put them together hoping it will look better than a single site on its own could. Unfortunately, the 13 sites here at skinvip are not greater than the sum of their parts. The main problem is the lack of update information which is apparent on almost every site in the network. I don't want to imply that skinreel is terrible and to be avoided at all costs, but they need to do a little sprucing up to keep up in the world of network password sites. The cost is around $24 for 30 days, or you can try it out for two days for about $4. |
