When it comes to tattoos and piercings, I think most people either love them or hate them. Men in particular, I've noticed, are either drawn to women with a bit of a wild streak, or are immediately repulsed by the idea of anything even remotely different. For those of you not too scared to take a walk on the wild side, more and more sites are springing up and highlighting punk, goth and rocker chicks with a different look. Rockstarpixies.com is one such site.
The girls are cute and it's nice to see something different among the sea of Barbie dolls on the net...
The tour didn't give much information and was essentially just picture previews, so I headed inside to see what they have to offer here. The members area is simple to navigate and is essentially made of five sections accessible via the menu. There are categories for photos, videos, feeds, chat rooms and webcam archives. The only section that actually contains Rock Star Pixies content is the photo section. The video section just has a "coming soon" notice posted, while the remaining categories are up-sells and third party bonus content.
In total, there are 108 photo sets available at rockstarpixies. I was unable to find any reference at all to updates and nothing is dated, so this is more than likely a static collection. The sets average about 50 images each with no ZIP file option. These have a definite amateur feeling and look like they were shot right in the bedrooms of the cute punk rock chicks they feature. Some of these girls look much more fitting for the site than others who just seem to be "punk" or "goth" for the fact that they're wearing a black bra or have dark eyeliner. Others are completely covered in tattoos and have hair in all colors of the rainbow. These are very softcore, so softcore in fact that I wouldn't even call them softcore porn, per se, they're just nudes. There's nothing wrong with that but just don't expect any actual naughty deeds to be featured here beyond a quick kiss or some light touching in sets which feature more than one girl. Even though these have an amateur aspect to them, the lighting and color is generally OK and the size is good at around 960 pixels on the long side.

In the end, I'm a bit torn on this site. The girls are cute and it's nice to see something different among the sea of Barbie dolls on the net, but without updates and no indication of when or if anything will ever be added to this site, I can't imagine paying a fee for this month after month. Nevertheless, it is at least worth a look if you're interested in sexy goth, punk, emo, or rock babes. The cost of membership to rockstarpixies.com is around $24 for 30 days. |

In the online porn world, a page within a member's area which states "coming soon" most likely means "coming never," so I was a little surprised to see that rockstarpixies.com actually did add video content since the time of my original review.
There are only around 45 clips soft core available, each around two minutes long and offered for download only in WMV format. They are a nice size at around 640x480 pixels, but most aren't very well lit and many are a bit blurry.
Fans of alterna-chicks may still want to peruse this exclusive collection, but you should be aware that the photo section never updated at all since my original review and the video section hasn't updated since sometime in 2007. |
