When logging in to the members area, the first thing you will see is a preview of the next coming update. This section states that new materials are added five days a week, yet the content numbers here haven't changed in months, so it would seem that that isn't accurate. While I can sometimes overlook it when a site is no longer updating, lying about it, or at the very least, not bothering to change the information, really gets under my skin.
Under the misleading updates section, a list of names with preview pictures and information begins and spans 30 pages. The content here is non-exclusive, but there certainly is a lot of it. Picture sets make up the bulk of the content with around 300 sets averaging 400 images each, and every set is available to download in a ZIP file. Since the content comes from a variety of sources, the quality and sizes can vary, but most of the photos I saw were around 1100 pixels on the long side and all look professionally shot with no major quality issues.
The quality of the videos seems to vary much more than the pictures with some looking great in full screen mode and others not even coming close.
While the main list of content which begins on the first page combines the picture sets and videos, there is a separate list of videos only accessible via the menu at the top of the page. There are 100 videos on the site currently, each averaging 22 minutes long. The videos are offered for download in WMV and MPEG formats in two quality levels each, and all videos are split into several pieces with no full length download available. Streaming is supported as well with the same file and quality options. The quality of the videos seems to vary much more than the pictures with some looking great in full screen mode and others not even coming close. Sound, lighting, and color balance issues are common to see, although there wasn't anything glaringly terrible in the materials that I saw.
With a unreliable update schedule and a few usability issues resolved, like the lack of full length downloads, pornstardreams.com would be a great site. As it stands, it's a mediocre site with a larger than average collection. If you'd like to check it out, take a look at the five day trial for around $9. |
