It's never good when the member's area of a webpage takes 20 seconds to load up, and there are members posting constantly in the forum about how slow the site is, how the videos don't work, how they weren't given what was promised, and more, all without any solutions offered from the owners. Unfortunately, that's exactly the situation at myspyvids.com.

It was impossible not to notice the painfully slow load time as I entered the site, and I actually gave up the first day, thinking that this was a temporary problem and one that would probably be fixed if I waited a day. The next day, however, things were just as bad, so this time I stuck it out and headed to the forums to see if anyone else was having the same problem. They were, and more. Posts dating back many months mentioned the issue, but the only response that I could find from the operator of the site was that the problem wasn't on his end. That is simply not true.

Myspyvids promises 300 videos, and more on the way. It even mentions the "300" figure in the members area, which is a real riot since you can obviously see that there are only around 130, which is a respectable number if they told the truth about it. The premise of the site is hidden spy cams, and the same rather goofy looking guy stars in each flick along with a different model each time.

As you might expect, the videos here took a while to download. The speed was less than a third of what I generally expect when downloading from a porn site. Each flick is offered full length only, in either WMV or DivX format, but not both. None of the videos I downloaded had any sound, which I suppose fits along with the spy theme of things. The files display at a nice, large size of over 640 pixels on the long side, and though the lighting and color isn't perfect, these actually don't look too bad. It's a shame that getting to them and downloading them is such a long hassle. There is no picture content at My Spy Vids.

Membership to myspyvids includes access to nine other sites in the network. I've seen a few of them, and they don't have the same issues with speed that I mentioned here, so I'm really not sure why they can't fix this one. The price is around $29 for 30 days.
