I had already checked out some other HD sites on the same network, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect, and unfortunately, it wasn't good. As soon as I logged in to the site, I decided to check on some of the negative issues that arose on the other sites I had seen to see if the situation would be the same... Unfortunately, for the most part, it was.
The main problem with highdefmoviepass.com is that, out of 41 videos offered, only 11 are actually in HD. While the others are somewhat higher than average quality, the size and bitrate at around 1000 kbps certainly isn't unheard of on regular porn sites, and is far, far short of being considered HD. These 30 non-HD videos are found in the "HD" section of the site, while the 11 videos that actually do quality as HD at around 4000 kbps are found in the "super HD" section of the website. The videos in both section are a nice mixture of solo, lesbian and hardcore shoots, and is all well filmed and looks good, even the non-HD videos, I just wish more of them fit the theme of the site and were actually high-def.

Since the site is simply "movie" themed, staying "within the category" wasn't an issue here as it was with highdefcumswap.com, which offered very little cum swapping material, however potential members should be aware that the 11 HD movies on this site are exactly the same on every other high-def site in the network, so if you were hoping to join several sites in order to see more HD movies, think again. There is no update schedule on the site or dates on the content, so the site doesn't appear to be updating.
Highdefmoviepass.com offers a pretty good collection of bonus content in the form of third party feeds and picture galleries, including some of the highest quality feeds I've seen yet, but the lack of growth in the true HD section prevents me from wholeheartedly recommending this site. Most of my comments from the original review of highdefmoviepass.com still hold true, although the actual numbers here have changed some. There is now a total of about 70 scenes here, only around 20 of which are HD. The bonus sites are still available, but here again the problem is that all of the HD content is just repeated from site to site. The only benefits that the bonus sites give you are some non-HD videos in a variety of categories.
There is certainly more HD porn out there now than when I first visited this site, but much of it is softcore or solo action and for hardcore fans, I think checking out highdefmoviepass.com could be worth it as long as you go for the full join and not the $1 trial option which offers only restricted access to the site. |
