When Hugh Hefner calls you "the king of erotica" you know you're doing something right. For Ron Harris, that something is being a world class erotica photographer for over 40 years. His work has appeared in top magazines around the world, and with one look at his work, it's easy to see why. These aren't just any nude photos, these are gorgeous works of art worthy of being displayed in world class publications.

The Harris archives are arranged by month, going back 19 months total as of the day I visited the site. The links are simply titled "Month 1" etc, going on up to 19, but based on the URL that the link for each month leads to, there have been several periods of time when updates have not been added and no explanation is given, nor is any information given about how many sets will be added per month.
Each month has a list of preview thumbnails for each of the sets leading to the download and gallery page. The sets generally come in three sizes each, the newer sets going up to 2000x3000 pixels, while the older sets are around 2000 pixels on the long side. For each set, the largest size is offered in a handy ZIP file which makes it very easy to save all your favorite sets, while the size options for the galleries make it possible to see the images on the site without scrolling to see the full picture. There are over 390 sets on the site currently, each with an average of 40 images each.
...harrisarchives is still full of high quality pictures, and that's what will keep people coming back.
The important thing to keep in mind here is that harris-archives.com does not offer any hardcore content at all, and many sets don't even feature nudity. What each set does have, however, are the most gorgeous babes in the world posing seductively, artistically and erotically. Ron's other site, Ron Harris Studio offers some masturbation and toy play, but you won't find any of that here, though there is a special half-off offer for members who want to join the other site.
Members of the site can join Ron's mailing list where they'll get fresh, free pictures delivered directly to their inbox, and there is a small section of videos featuring some softcore footage from some of Ron's films, but this section isn't updated and I didn't really consider it part of the core content of the site, more of a bonus. Although I would prefer to see more browsing options and the ability to search the archives, harrisarchives is still full of high quality pictures, and that's what will keep people coming back. While most of the praise I lavished on harris-archives.com regarding quality and artistic photos the first time around is still more than accurate nine months later, the site itself isn't really keeping up. As far as I can tell, not a single new piece of content has been added here.
The same 19 mystery months are still listed and that's about it for this collection... at this point I'd say it truly is an archive and not a growing collection at all. If the lack of growth doesn't scare you away, the price of admission is probably worth it to see all these world class sexy photos in one place. |
