Darkesttoons.com is an artwork based BDSM site that features comics, computer generated graphics, drawings, sketches and more of some very hardcore bondage, fetish and BDSM subjects. You'll see everything from simple rope bondage to forced fantasy scenes and violent scenarios. Just keep in mind that when real people aren't involved, the level of extreme can increase, and you should fully expect to see very extreme action.

There are around 100 sets of images at Darkest Comics. Some are unrelated pictures, others form a series and sort of tell a story, but I really didn't see any comic books, per se, which is what I was expecting. In fact, some seemed to be part of a larger set that wasn't present on the site, and there were ads for sites featuring more of the same artist being displayed at the bottom of the page which made me feel like the whole purpose of the site might be getting up-sells.
As I mentioned before, I was expecting more comics here with actual dialogue and plot, and they certainly don't make it easy to view these sets in order. There is no ZIP file option, and no "next" button on the picture page, so you have to click back to the gallery page in between each picture, which makes things a bit irritating.
There are 23 different artists with materials on darkestcomics including names like Gary Roberts, Roscoe, Silas, Hines, Alain and Aries, each with their own distinct style. Some are simple pencil sketches, others appear to be done in colored pencil, and others are photo manipulations. The size of the sets is around 10 images each and the size of the actual pictures varies drastically from set to set.

In the end, I felt a little uncomfortable with Darkest Comics, almost like I didn't see something I was supposed to. I believe all of the pictures here are non-exclusive, and many can probably be found in their proper context with the seemingly missing frames and images elsewhere. The total lack of updates is the nail in the coffin here at this extreme comic site. There is a considerable network worth of bonus materials available, but I think I'd stick to the exclusive sites for BDSM comic and art material. Membership is around $29 for 30 days. |

The situation here at darkestcomics.com is still the same as at the time of my original review. No new updates have been added as far as I can tell, so this remains a site with a lot of problems.
The network speeds here have decreased significantly, but luckily that doesn't affect this image-only site as much as the ones which offer videos. The large bonus network consists of over 70 sites and could make this one worth a look at a cost of around $29 for 30 days. |
