The tour promises weekly picture updates, twice monthly video updates and webcam shows so let's look inside this solo model site.

Rather than the typical video and picture sections I usually see on solo model sites, cuterain has things set up a little differently. You can view the photos in Flash galleries, regular galleries or just download them in ZIP files in three different sizes, but all of these options are found in separate sections rather than all together. It's not really very difficult to use at all, but I think some members might not initially notice the separate section for the ZIP files. There is a blog available, but there are only five entries that actually work. When I tried to access the archives, I got a blank screen.
There are 22 photo sets available so far at cuterain. They're done in various locations including an old farm house, several outdoor locations and of course the typical indoor and shower scenes you expect. The images display at different sizes in the galleries (I believe it's based on your screen settings and size) but the downloadable, ZIP files versions of the pics go up to 3000 pixels on the long side and are so crystal clear I count Rain's individual eyebrow hairs! I don't think many people will pay much attention to her eyebrows, but these extreme high quality pics are good for looking at other body parts too!
...the "medium" quality video here is better than most sites' high quality.
The nine Cute Rain videos can be downloaded in WMV format in three quality levels, or iPod/PSP format for on the go watching. Streaming is also supported for the WMV versions. The highest quality version available on the site is simply massive at 1920x1080 pixels and a bitrate of over 5100 kbps which means that they start off bigger than most people's monitors are even capable of displaying. Once I got it down to size, the video tended to run slow. Luckily, the "medium" quality video here is better than most sites' high quality.
While I loved the sexy girl, the great photography and the super high quality videos here, I wasn't impressed with the size of the collection, the "broken" blog or the lack of scheduled cam shows. Updates come reliably and you can see previews for scheduled updates going through October of 2007. If you'd like to check out what's available, a three day trial is around $4. |

Cuterain.com has only grown a bit to around 36 photo sets and 16 videos since I first visited the site back in the summer of 2007. Her blog now has more entries and works correctly, but only about three entries have been added so far in 2008 and it's already the end of February.
The amount of growth I saw here only comes out to about three updates per month whereas previous, they claimed to update weekly with photo sets and twice monthly with videos. I'm a bit confused about the web cam shows because the webcam schedule page here shows two different schedules. One indicates two weekly shows while the other indicates that no shows are scheduled. There are only two archived shows available so my best guess is that shows are not in fact taking place weekly.
Overall I feel like this site is missing something with the lack of interaction, and I can't even be sure that Rain herself is even actively involved anymore. At least the materials are super high quality, and now you can access a free bonus sites with membership, fuckyoupaul.com, so it may be an OK join for softcore fans. |
