I never would have guessed that there would be so many sites dedicated to the moments of nudity and sex in Hollywood. Celebkings.com is one such site, and though for the most part it looks like it will shape up to be similar to the other celeb sites I've seen, they do specifically mention that their videos are at least 640x480 pixels and DVD quality, and also that you can download them in multiple formats. Since quality and download options are usually two of the biggest problems on celebrity nudity sites, I was interested to get inside and see if Celeb Kings was truly better.
The collection of materials here is searchable by actress name or by movie name, although not all of the celebs are actresses and not all of the videos are movies. Singers, music videos, concert appearances and other video recordings are part of the archives too, but I don't see any picture content except for a separate desktop wallpaper section and the preview pictures for the videos. The vast majority of these celebrities are people I've never heard of, although there certainly are big stars as well. As I browsed through the collection, I noticed that the more famous the celeb, the less chance that there is actually nudity involved in the clips. Many of these are just short clips from movies or TV and really have no "adult entertainment value" at all in my opinion. If I wanted to see fully clothed celebs, there are literally millions of sites that are free.
As far as the quality goes, I would say that the average is certainly better here than on most sites I've seen, and though the exact sizes and bitrates vary, they do mostly stick to the promised minimums and offer streaming Flash, WMV, MOV and iPod/PSP format downloads.
It's often difficult to get a real feel for how much material is offered on these sites because they aren't laid out with easy video and photo sections to count, but they claim to have 7,121 clips from 1,545 different movies and 2,193 different female celebrities, and that seems about right to me. There are no male celebs on the site at all.
Overall, I think celebkings lived up to its promises, and even though I still don't quite understand the appeal of paying for a collection that really doesn't feature as much nudity and sex as you would think, in terms of celebrity sites, this one has managed to stand out with higher than average quality... Membership is around $29 for 30 days. |
