Americanslut.com is a website with a very flimsy premise. In fact, I'm not even sure what the premise is exactly. I guess the site is supposed to be about American sluts, but in the end, it just seems to be a mish-mash of videos, photos, streaming DVDs and third party feeds in most of the major porn categories including interracial, Asian, lesbian, teen and even shemale. The tour promises hundreds of thousands of HD videos and picture sets, so let's look inside and see what exactly is offered here.
The member's area at American Slut is peppered with ads and a fairly confusing menu with options that often lead unexpectedly to up sells rather than materials and services included with membership. They also have the content spread out over different categories like videos, DVDs, exclusive girls and photos which sometimes do and sometimes do not break down into further categories which can make it a bit tricky to find, for example, every single set or video staring a blonde or with a transsexual. I thought that overall things could use some simplifying and streamlining.
Not counting the materials found in third party feeds which I view as bonus content only, there are around 250 photo sets and 350 videos on the site. Some of the videos are streaming only DVDs, others are downloadable in full length, DVD quality WMV files that work great for full screen viewing. The average length of the downloadable flicks is about 20 minutes.
The photos here are mostly magazine style, glamorous type sets and are obviously professionally shot with excellent lighting and picture clarity but I was a little surprised to see that they're only around 750 pixels on the long side when enlarged. Another mild annoyance (or possibly major annoyance depending on how easily annoyed you are) is the fact that the way these galleries are done means you have to click a picture twice to see it at full size.
While I didn't feel that American Slut lived up to the hype on the tour, and the site is a little lacking in direction, they do update daily, offer access to massive amounts of content if you count the feeds, and, most importantly, it's free to join for three days! Who can pass up free porn? |
