Luckily for the Internet porn lovers of the world, amateuridols.com doesn't share anything other than a similar sounding name with the popular television series where singers audition in front of famous judges. I can only imagine what would happen if Simon Cowell were on the set as these porn flicks were being filmed, but I bet it wouldn't have been pretty. His asshole attitude and condescending remarks wouldn't get him very far with the babes here, that's for sure! Amateur Idols is an amateur porn themed site which offers videos and photos as well as a large bonus collection.

In addition to the photos and videos that make up the core content here, there are also tons and tons of bonus feeds, videos, pictures and games to have fun with.

Lots of sites are offering downloadable DVDs these days, and such is the case with Amateur Idols. Downloadable DVD titles make up their core content along with the photo archive section. A large collection of titles and photo sets in over 30 different categories are available, but for the purposes of my review I will cover only the content found in the amateur categories so as to give an accurate picture of the on-topic content here at Amateur Idols.

16 amateur titles comprised of 81 scenes are currently available. I wasn't able to find any dates on the individual scenes or titles, so I'm not sure how often the amateur section is updated. The tour claimed that the site is updated daily, but I'm pretty sure they are counting the bonus categories.

One of the first things I noticed as I was browsing the videos on Amateur Idols is the consistency in the way the videos are offered, which is, unfortunately, not very common. There's no guess work about which format is offered, or how many quality levels since every single scene is offered in the same ways. The file format is always WMV, and both split and full length versions are available in three quality levels, the highest being 570x380 pixels with a bitrate of about 800 kbps. These high quality versions are usually OK for full screen viewing. You have your choice of downloading or streaming the files. I love all the choices and it's a perfect combination of options and consistency.

Nearly 300 photo sets are offered at Amateur Idols, and as with the videos, there are also many, many bonus categories aside from the amateur pics. ZIP files are not offered which is really the only usability problem I encountered on this site.

Here at amateuridols.com, there's now a section dedicated specifically to this site's videos rather than just general amateur videos from the network as a whole as was the case before.

I found just 35 videos here, and even the network's picture gallery section is smaller with around 135 available now. Although other included sites on the network may still be updating, Amateur Idols is not, as far as I can tell.

This site is really best viewed as part of the overall package anyway, and with well over 2000 DVDs and over 14,000 scenes across the network, there's more than enough to keep you busy even if this site on its own leaves a little something to be desired.
