Adultmovieclub.com is a DVD download site offering nearly 1500 full length DVD flicks for one price. The main page spells it right out for you: 1499 DVDs, 6940 scenes and 2473 hours of hardcore smut. You could literally watch a new DVD every single day for over four years, and still have videos left over, and that doesn’t even take into consideration the daily updates. The sheer numbers alone set this one apart from the crowd of hardcore sites, but within the DVD download category, competition is fierce and it seems like the ante is upped all the time. Let's take a closer look at Adult Movie Club to see where it fits in with the ranks.

The member's area at Adult Movie Club lays out just about everything you'll need to find right away. You can view new additions to the site, preview upcoming updates, browse the most viewed scenes and titles and even take a look at what the adultmovieclub staff recommends. Finding something specific is pretty simple too. You can browse by star name, narrow the collection by key word, and even select to search within one or more categories which include things like bisexual, cheerleader, fetish, strap-on and more. They even get really specific like having two separate categories for lesbian and girl on guy strap-on action.
Now once you've found a scene or DVD you want to view, you can select to stream or download the flick in WMV format or download it in iPod format. For WMV files, there are three quality levels usually going up to around 2000 kbps at a size of 720x480, so you can easily view these flicks in full screen for a true DVD watching experience. There is a special free download manager available that is integrated with the site, but I was able to use my own just fine.

In addition to the thousands of DVD scenes here at adultmovieclub, membership also includes access to several bonus sites as well. It's a nice perk but frankly I doubt most people will ever wade their way out of the mass of DVD downloads to even bother with them.
Adult Movie Club offers most of the basic features that I look for in a DVD download site and has much more to offer on top of the basics, but there are a few nit picking "issues" I can bring up. When compared strictly to other DVD download sites, adultmovieclub is trailing behind the leader in size by over 1500 titles and lacks some of the "fancier" features like scene slicing that I've seen elsewhere. Even with updates every single day, they aren't the most frequently updated in this category. Also worth noting is the fact that gay titles are included in the count here, which brings down the number of interesting titles for the majority of members, I would imagine.
In the end, I think those truly interested in getting the biggest bang for their porn buck should at least check out several sites to see which offers more content interesting to them, and adultmovieclub is certainly one to add to the "must see" list. You can check things out on a trial basis for three days for only around $4. |

In the time since my original review of adultmovieclub.com, the site has grown to nearly 1900 full length titles and seems to have settled in to an update schedule of three new DVDs per day.
Streaming here is now done in Flash video format rather than WMV, and I noticed that an MOV format download has also been added to the list of options. As before, my suggestion is to peruse the available titles here via the tour pages and compare to some of the other large DVD before you make your decision! |
