I've seen sites that charge over five times as much, and don't update at all, so to have a reliable update schedule here is great.
There are already over 237 picture sets on the site with an average of 70 photos each. These are real still photos and not screen captures, all obviously professionally shot, crisp and clear. I was very impressed by the quality level of these photos for the price. The sizes can vary from set to set, but most that I looked at were between 700 and 1200 pixels on the long side, tending toward the larger end of that scale. The video section here is considerably less impressive, unfortunately. However, with the videos here in the section that makes up the core video content of the site, the videos were constantly stopping to stream and I was getting only four or five seconds worth of play time for every 20-30 seconds of buffer time, which basically rendered the vids useless. As always when I encounter this type of problem, I tested my connection and tried some other streaming videos to confirm that the problem was not with my system or connection, and indeed everything was working fine on the day I visited this site, so it seems that the upstream connection coming from the site is not sufficient to stream these videos, which is a shame.

Luckily, there is a massive amount of third party streaming content available, and I was able to stream these materials without a problem. There are around 20 different third party feeds on the site offering a variety of videos and some pictures, and around a dozen of those are specifically ebony themed in one way or another. The massive problems I encountered with the streaming videos at 6buckebony.com are gone, and this low priced site is still offering sporadic updates to its core collection as well as some bonus updates to be found among the various streaming feeds in the member's area. I noticed that, for a while, they were adding two new photo sets a week, but recently that's slowed down... hopefully over the coming months they will re-instate that growth.
I actually found better quality in some of the bonus content than the main collection offers so I'd say that overall, it's definitely still worth checking out for ebony lovers. |
