All of the sites are accessible with membership, so the first thing you'll see on the main members area page is a list of updates from across the network, but I didn't get there before first being asked to enter my username and password two times. I scrolled through the list until I reached last years listings, and I didn't see a single mention of 2chicks1dick, so it looks like updates are no longer being made here.
There are 29 episodes on the site, each with a video and a set of photos. The videos are offered for download in MPEG and WMV format, but I wasn't particularly fond of the way they have things set up here. For the MPEG versions, you sometimes must download over 50 pieces of the video to get the full flick, and the WMV versions at an average of about 10 pieces per movie aren't much better. There badly needs to be a full length download option, or at least something with a more manageable number of pieces.

Both the WMV and MPEG versions are offered in two quality levels each, but even the higher of the two versions for each is nowhere near being suitable for full screen viewing. On top of this, the videos here have DRM protection. In case you haven't encountered this yet, I'll briefly explain. Essentially DRM protection means that after my subscription to the site has expired, the videos that I downloaded will no longer work. I also had to enter the username and password in order to acquire the license before watching the video, which makes a total of three times entering it on this site.
The photo sets at 2chicks1dick are a generous size with around 275 images each. Each photo is around 900 pixels on the long side. ZIP files are not provided and there is no slideshow feature on the site. The quality isn't the best I've seen, but these are real photos and not screen captures, so that gives them an edge over a lot of sites I see.
Aside from the DRM issue, the other problems on the site could be overlooked if the site had something really special to offer, but unfortunately, it just doesn't. With aggravating video options and no ability to save movies beyond your membership period, this site can't even begin to compete with the more accommodating sites out there, particularly at the higher than average price of about $38 for 30 days. A trial membership is also offered for around $2 for three days. |

Considering that they still charge the above average price of around $38 for 30 days here at 2chicks1dick.com, I was hoping to see a lot of growth and some above average options and quality to go along with the high price. Unfortunately, the site hasn't updated at all since the time of my original review, and the site is still less than user friendly in some respects including the videos being split into as many as 50 pieces and the DRM protection.
If the exclusive materials and 17 bonus sites are enough to win you over, make sure that you go for a full 30 day join despite the high cost. The trial membership rate has been reduced to only about $1 for three days, but you won't get full site access if you go this route! |
